AT LONG LAST, having chewed through the hollow cage of black bile that held it for so long from the scaly claws of consumers, PREORDERS ARE HERE.

EVERYTHING GOES COLD VS. GENERAL FAILURE, and, perhaps more importantly, the first limited ICE BRIGADE MEMBERSHIP PACK are now available at http://www.bitriotmerch.com, along with shirts with which you can announce your ill-advised allegiances to the world at large.

The membership pack will include a comic book by Edgar G. Chillingston designer Stitchmind, a membership card granting access to exclusive songs, and more! MUCH MORE! Okay, actually only slightly more. Those are the big things.

Go buy now before your elbows lock up, making it increasingly difficult to type your shipping information in to the form.

http://www.everythinggoescold.com
http://www.bitriotmerch.com

Celebrate the Release of "VS. GENERAL FAILURE" in a City Near You.

Deep in the frozen recesses of these darkest times, humanity searches for those tiny, near-inscrutable shining stars, the brightest spots of the blackest night. FOR THESE FEW CITIES, these urban nightmares sprawled across the vast expanse of a post-Eisenhower wasteland, those fleeting last gasps at happiness have clawed their ways out of obscurity and in to the seedy underbelly of American nightlife.

Join us in marking this brief respite from our desperate hour- the release of Everything Goes Cold's debut album, "VS. GENERAL FAILURE", across this terrifying nation.

CELEBRATE WHILE YOU STILL CAN.

924 Gilman
Friday 12.11.09 / 8PM
924 Gilman St.
Berkeley, California 94710
Live Performance by Everything Goes Cold, Slave Unit and Syndika:Zero
For more info:
http://www.924gilman.org

Defcon @ The Pyramid
Saturday 12.12.09 / 10PM / 21+
101 Ave. A (btwn 6th and 7th).
New York, New York 10009
Cost: $6.00
Hosted by DJ Wintermute
For more info:
http://www.thepyramidclub.com
http://www.myspace.com/defcon_nyc
http://www.myspace.com/djwintermute

Warehouse Party
Saturday 12.12.09 / 7PM / ALL AGES
657 St Mary’s UNIT C-9.
Tucson, Arizona 85701
Cost: $10.00
Hosted by DJ Plastic Disease
For more info:
http://www.myspace.com/djplasticdisease

Death Guild @ DNA Lounge

Monday, 12.14.09 / 9:30PM

375 11th St.

San Francisco, California 94103

Cost: $5.00

For more info:

http://www.deathguild.com

http://www.dnalounge.com

Black Sky @ iLounge
Tuesday 12.15.09 / 9PM / 18+
65 E.
Kick Off Your Holiday w/ mindFluxFuneral LIVE

To celebrate what can only be described as an incredible year, Dave of WTII Records has decided to grace us with another special "Holiday" installation of his monthly Sunday Night Showcase with artists and friends you (may) know and love, including mindFluxFuneral.

We have personally been told by t.smith of mFF, "Wait till you see what we have planned for that show... lets just say costumes, blood, live jams, interactive video and lots of new/old songs you have never heard..."

I know we won't miss out on the sights, sounds and... possibly smells this night is offering.
C'mon, would you?

Sadly, the word around town is that the "big fat man" can't make a appearance again this year (which may or may not have anything do with being dry humped by a member of P155 last year) BUT... rumors have surfaced that Rudolph the Reindeer may make an appearance instead.

WTII Record's Sunday Night Showcase

Sunday Dec 13th, 2009
Darkroom
2210 W.
Nitzer Ebb w/ Torrent Vaccine vs. Synnack LIVE in NOLA

Torrent Vaccine vs. Synnack will be playing one night only with Nitzer Ebb in New Orleans, LA.

Brad Vaccine of Torrent Vaccine comments about this exciting one night only set: "Clint and I are both excited about the show with Nitzer Ebb. They're icons to me in a way and there is a good buzz down here about the event. We are currently re-working some of the Vaccine tracks to make them even more flexible, since the performance will be unrehearsed and 100% live."

"It's also the first time I'll have access to professional video equipment so there will be tons of footage for the fans who can't make the show", said Brad. "For everyone who is planning to catch the show....be warned... It will be sonically chaotic and loud as fuck in NOLA on Dec 11th...Cheers!"

Nitzer Ebb w/ Torrent Vaccine vs. Synnack
Friday Dec 11th, 2009
9:00 PM
The Hangar
1511 South Rendon
New Orleans, Louisiana 70125

Cost: $20

http://www.myspace.com/thehangarnola
http://www.myspace.com/torrentvaccine
http://www.myspace.com/synnack

The greatest band in the universe (that is not us) breaks up

A message from Eric G. of Everything Goes Cold.

It is with a very, very heavy evil robot heart that we mark the passing of Babyland, a band that has helped us more than any other during our as-of-yet brief existence. Please read Dan's myspace posting about it .

http://blogs.myspace.com/index.cfm?fuseaction=blog.view&friendId=31606713&blogId=513609697.

Aside from helping EGC in the obvious ways like doing a fantastic remix of "FAIL" on our EP and bringing us with them on their West Coast tour last year, Babyland has provided me personally with the inspiration to keep making the music I want to make, and to always strive for greater things when we play live. They have been my favorite band for ten years. I have seen them perform something like 65 times (and I am not exaggerating that), and at least half of the major events of my personal life for the past decade have occurred at Babyland shows.

There are no words to describe how deeply I feel this loss, and I urge you all to listen to them now if you haven't before. "You Will Never Have It" exemplifies some of their best qualities, and is posted to http://www.myspace.com/babylandmusic, but if you never had your knees pressed in to the edge of the stage at Berkeley's historic Punk Rock venue, 924 Gilman, with twenty sweaty people pounding their fists rhythmically in to your back while sparks from Smith's grinder were setting your hair on fire, you may never really get why they were so important to so many of us. They were without a doubt the greatest live performers Industrial Music has seen, at least since their inception twenty years ago, if not longer.

I am proud to have shared the stage with Dan and Smith on so many occasions, including playing with Caustic at their final show, and even prouder to call them my friends. We wish them both all the best, and can never thank them enough for all that they have done.

Hugs and kisses, Eric.

Everything Goes Cold Announces "Everything Goes Cold vs. General Failure" Release Date

AS THE GRIM LIGHT OF THE WINTER SUN SLOWLY APPROACHES AN UNCARING AND UNCOUTH NORTHERN HEMISPHERE, they who would quench their thirst for rhythm only by the oppressive blanket of the more temperate seasons will steel themselves away as the grizzly bear hibernates. As the Summer lifeguards return to their altruistic work at the asbestos factory. As empty as the parking lot where the air conditioning salesman once hawked his snake oil wares.

ALL THIS WE SEE. We watch, and we crack our knuckles and stroke our great beards and share a haughty, disdainful laugh. For we are ready.

DECEMBER 15, 2009.

THE ICE BRIGADE ATTACKS.

THE FRIDGE BECOMES SELF-AWARE.

DEEP WITHIN WINTER'S ICY SHADOW, LURKS A TERROR NEVER KNOWN BY MAN OR APPLIANCE.

EVERYTHING GOES COLD VS. GENERAL FAILURE.

GET READY TO TASTE THE FRIDGE, JERKS.

EGC's Eric Gottesman featured on XP8 Drop the Mask album

Before you knew them as "the guys who remotely mixed the Everything Goes Cold EP, remixed 'Abort' for 'Gears Gone Wild', worked on the Squidhead Liberation Front KLF cover of 'What Time Is Love?', and occasionally let Eric Gottesman from EGC play bass in their band ", did you know that Marco and Marko of XP8 had their own project, called XP8? BELIEVE IT OR NOT, THEY TOTALLY DID. And it's significantly more popular than Everything Goes Cold! In fact, you're probably wondering why you're reading something from us and not either listening to an XP8 track or swooning over pictures of their hot Italian bodies RIGHT NOW.

Their new album, "Drop the Mask", comes out in January, with details listed here. The track "Scorpio Eyes" features guest vocals by EGC's Eric Gottesman, and the digital single for "Want It" features Daniel from Aesthetic Perfection and a new remix by EGC remixer extraordinaire SAM. Spread the word and send them creepy slash-fic in which you insert yourself into their sexual exploits.

SO IT BEGINS.

Work on Everything Goes Cold's hotly- no, COLDLY anticipated debut full-length, "Everything Goes Cold vs. General Failure", has been completed. Produced by Imperative Reaction's Ted Phelps and mastered by Hate Dept.'s Seibold, this album is like a tiny god, except not even tiny. Two new songs have been posted to their profile: http://www.myspace.com/everythinggoescold

Bitch Stole My Time Machine
A heart-wrenching story of paradox and the destruction of all reality as we know it, featuring guest noise by Conan Neutron of Replicator and Mount Vicious.

IGNORE
An angry, angry song, for which you are entirely responsible. You are a jerk. With guest guitars from James Perry of Deathline Int'l.

Expect more and worse music from the album to be posted in the days and weeks to come, including an epically epic preview track with clips from the entire album, and a bevy of increasingly unnecessary and confounding guest stars, all leading up to the terrifying and moist release of the album on Bit Riot Records.

EVERYTHING GOES COLD VS. GENERAL FAILURE.

1. Defrosted
2. ABORT
3. Don't Quit Your Day Job
4. I've Sold Your Organs on the Black Market To Finance the Purchase of a Used Minivan
5. RETRY
6. The Droids You're Looking For
7. Bitch Stole My Time Machine
8. IGNORE
9. Unleash the Kraken
10. Monsters of the Modern Age
11. Ice Brigade
12. Refrozen
13. FAIL

MORE IN THE DAYS TO COME. Stay tuned or you'll get clocked in the head by an angry appliance.
